What does “access” actually change?
It changes the network exit conditions seen by the streaming platform. It does not alter the account’s subscription benefits or automatically purchase membership for any platform.
The same streaming platform may show different catalogs, audio tracks, subtitles, live channels or subscription options in different regions. Platforms typically assess the exit IP location, the region set on the account, billing region, device location permissions, browser cache and previous login environment to decide what content to show. Connecting to a route is therefore only one part of the region check; it does not mean every account will see exactly the same catalog.
In practice, first identify the region where the content you want is available, then look in the user panel for a route with the matching platform label. A route label means the route has recently been adapted or tested for that platform, but platforms continually change their detection methods, so labels must be maintained as well. VPNGP does not guarantee that a route will remain suitable for a platform permanently. When the catalog changes, refreshing the route list and switching to another route with the same type of label is usually more effective than repeatedly refreshing the player.
If the platform homepage opens but still shows the original catalog, the issue is usually not basic connectivity but incomplete region updates. Exit the player, clear the platform’s site data or app cache, check the device location settings, then reconnect to the target route and sign in again. If the account region, payment details and exit region conflict, the platform may continue using the content region associated with the account.

The facts table does not specify fixed countries or regions supported by each platform, so the table below does not present unconfirmed regions as established coverage. Use the currently visible routes and platform labels in the user panel to determine the target region.

“Confirm using the current label” means the supported range may change with platform policies and route test results. Without the corresponding label, do not infer playback support from the route name alone.
Native IPs, residential IPs and route labels
These terms describe exit-network attributes; they do not mean playback is guaranteed. When assessing streaming compatibility, the platform label is more direct than the IP name alone.
Registration details match the exit region
The industry generally uses native IP to describe an address whose registered allocation and actual exit region are relatively consistent. This can help reduce regional identification conflicts, but streaming platforms also consider address history, network operator attributes and the account environment. The word “native” alone cannot determine the final result.
Closer to a home-access network
A residential IP usually refers to an exit with network attributes closer to those of ordinary home broadband. Some platforms may be more accepting of this type of network, but playback is also affected by whether the address is heavily shared and whether the platform’s detection database is up to date. VPNGP’s facts table does not promise a fixed IP type; check the panel labels when choosing a route.
More suitable for direct route selection
Platform labels combine the exit region, route status and recent compatibility results into a clearer prompt. When you want to watch a specific platform, find its platform label first, then compare IEPL dedicated, relay and direct routes. Do not reverse the process and guess access results from the route type alone.
Practical requirements for 4K and Dolby Vision
Resolution is not determined by bandwidth alone. Sustained throughput, jitter, packet loss, device decoding and the platform plan all affect the final picture quality.
Players usually adjust the bitrate automatically based on sustainable throughput over a period of time. A brief speed test may be high while playback fluctuates frequently, causing the picture to drop to a lower resolution. Cross-border routes pass through more network segments, while evening congestion, wireless interference and background downloads can consume available bandwidth. Instead of chasing a single speed-test peak, observe whether the same route can sustain playback, recover quickly after seeking and avoid frequent quality drops in high-motion scenes.
4K and Dolby Vision also depend on the source, platform subscription permissions, display device, connection interface and digital rights management environment. Being able to open the playback page does not mean the source offers the format, and loading 4K does not mean the device supports Dolby Vision. During troubleshooting, first confirm device capabilities in the platform’s official app, then stop other network-intensive tasks and compare different routes carrying the platform label.
If several devices share one subscription, VPNGP supports unlimited devices, but simultaneous playback still consumes the plan’s traffic and local network bandwidth together. Confirm the target content first
Record the platform, target program and region where the content is available. Do not simply write “it doesn’t work,” because a failed homepage, an inconsistent catalog and a player error indicate different issues.
Then check the platform label
Open the user panel to update the subscription and route list, then find the label corresponding to the target platform. If there are several candidates, compare the sustained playback performance of IEPL dedicated, relay and direct routes on the current local network.
Clear old region information
Exit the streaming app before switching routes. After the connection is established, clear the platform cache, disable location permissions that could expose the old region and reopen the app. In a browser, also check whether site data is retaining the old session.
Verify with actual content
Do not check only whether the homepage loads. Search for the target title, open its details page and start playback, then seek through the video to observe recovery. For 4K or Dolby Vision, also confirm that the source and device support the required capabilities.
Record a working combination
