Review the full sequence first
For first-time use, think of the process as one continuous chain: create an account and choose a plan, then get the subscription link belonging to that account from the user panel. Import the link into the client so it can load the route list. Finally, choose a route, connect and check the exit region. If an earlier step is incomplete, the next one usually will not produce the expected result. Follow this page in order rather than repeatedly changing system network settings first.
Accounts, orders, clients and subscription links serve different purposes. The account lets you access the user panel, the order determines whether the subscription is active, the client reads routes and starts connections, and the subscription link passes the route configuration from the panel to the client. Keeping these objects distinct makes it easier to identify whether an issue occurs when you can log in but see no routes, or when routes exist but will not update.
This page covers only the steps required for a first connection. Route types, routine maintenance, renewals and more complete system settings are covered in the User Guide; connection errors and failed subscription updates are covered in the FAQ. Complete the main flow first, then read the relevant extensions as needed. This is usually safer than changing many options at the outset.
Create an account and open the user panel
Open the account creation page and set a username and password. VPNGP does not require an email address. Choose a username you plan to keep using and a password that is not reused on other sites. Check that all fields are complete before submitting. Once creation succeeds, the page will open the user panel or ask you to sign in with the username and password you just set.
After entering the panel, confirm that you can see areas such as Overview, Plans and Clients. Your account now exists, but route delivery is not complete, so no usable subscription will appear in the client yet. Do not paste your login password into the client’s subscription field: the password is only for accessing the panel, while the client needs the subscription link obtained from the overview later.
If the page says the username is already in use, choose another name that is easy for you to recognize and submit again. If you cannot open the panel after creating the account, return to the sign-in page, re-enter the username and password, and check that your input method has not added spaces. If you still cannot continue, see the account section of the FAQ. This step is complete when the user panel opens normally and shows the plan entry.
Choose a plan by monthly data allowance
Once your account opens normally, go to the Plans section of the user panel. VPNGP monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. Compare your usual video viewing, file transfers and everyday browsing needs; occasional use does not require choosing a higher tier.
Monthly subscription data resets on the activation date. If you later need more data, check the upgrade options in the panel; mid-cycle upgrades calculate the price difference based on the remaining days. Devices are unlimited, but simultaneous transfers across multiple devices share the data in the current subscription. Households with many devices should therefore choose based on total usage rather than buying separately for each device.
After confirming the plan, open the order page and check the plan name, data allowance and amount. Then choose an available payment method—Alipay, WeChat or USDT—and complete the payment. Return to the panel afterward; do not create the same order again. Once the order status updates, subscription details will appear in the overview. If nothing changes immediately, refresh the panel or reopen the overview.
All plans include 14-day no-questions-asked refunds. The priority here is to make sure the subscription appears correctly in the panel, not to open the client and test a connection immediately. This step is complete when the panel recognizes an active subscription and provides a subscription link or copy entry. See the Plans page for detailed differences and data package information.
Get the subscription link from the overview
After the order becomes active, open the user panel overview and find the subscription information or subscription link section. Click Copy and the panel will place the complete link on your clipboard. Open the client you plan to use and paste it into the subscription import field. There is no need to send the link to a public chat, note or web form first.
If you are concerned that the copied content is incomplete, briefly paste it into a local address bar or plain-text editor to check it. Confirm that the link starts with https:// and has no extra spaces at the end, then undo the input. Do not manually delete or edit characters in the link, and do not combine links from different accounts. The client needs the complete address to load routes; even one missing character can cause an update to fail.
The subscription link and the client’s route list are not separate sets of data. After importing the link, the client reads the routes supplied by the panel through an update. If the subscription status or route content later changes in the panel, the client must update again to receive the new content. Therefore, completing this step means more than copying the link: after the next import, the client should display a route list.
If no copy entry appears in the overview, first confirm that the order is active and that you are signed in to the account used to place it. Do not keep creating new accounts, as this scatters orders and subscriptions. If the status is correct but the entry is still missing, follow the routing guidance in Billing and subscription issues.
Import your subscription on each platform
VPNGP supports Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and Linux. This section focuses on first-time imports on common platforms. Client entries are provided in the user panel; after signing in, open the Clients section and choose the item for your current system. The marketing site does not provide static installer URLs or publicly usable subscription content.
Desktop
Windows
Install and open the Windows client obtained from the panel. On first launch, look for “Subscription,” “Configuration” or “Import from link,” then paste the subscription link you copied and confirm. Keep the page open while the client updates until the route list appears.
Once routes are visible, do not change the system proxy, routing mode and other advanced options at the same time. Keep the client’s default settings, choose one route and continue to the connection step. If the import button does nothing, copy the complete link from the panel again and check for spaces at either end.
Desktop
macOS
Choose macOS in the Clients area of the user panel and use the provided entry to obtain a compatible client. After launching it, open subscription or configuration management, choose Add via link, paste the subscription address and save. If macOS displays a network configuration authorization prompt, confirm it through the system dialog.
After importing, return to the client’s main screen and confirm that region and route names appear in the list. If the list is empty, run an update in subscription management rather than deleting the entire client. Once routes appear, choose one and continue with the default connection mode.
Mobile
Android
Open the Android client entry in the panel and obtain the client for your device. Common entry points include the add button on the home screen, the configuration page or subscription management. Choose Import from link, paste the subscription address, give the configuration an easy-to-recognize name, then save and update.
The first time the system establishes a network connection, it will show an authorization dialog. Confirm it and return to the client. If the connection often drops when switching to another app, check the system’s background-running settings for the client. Device-specific differences are substantial, so this page does not cover them; continue with Connection and troubleshooting.
Mobile
iOS
Open the iOS project in the user panel and use the provided app entry to obtain the client. In the app, find Add subscription, Import via link or Download configuration, then paste and save the subscription link. On the first connection, iOS will ask permission to add a network configuration; confirm it before the client can connect.
If the client does not import automatically after you jump to it from the panel, return to the panel, copy the link again and add it manually in the client. Save it, run a subscription update and wait for the route list to appear. Do not enter your login username as a connection parameter beyond using it as the subscription name.
Linux users should also open the Clients area from the panel and import the subscription as instructed there. Because network permissions and service management vary widely between distributions, this page does not cover command-line or service-management details; see the VPNGP User Guide for the complete process. Regardless of platform, a successful import means that the client can display a route list.
Choose a route and start the connection
Once the route list appears, choose an exit region based on where the target service is located. For content tied to a specific region, select the matching region; when there is no specific requirement, start with a geographically closer route. Route names may include IEPL, relay or direct connection types. You do not need to study each one during your first connection—choose a route that connects successfully.
After selecting a route, click the connection switch or start button on the client’s main screen. The system may show another network configuration authorization prompt; confirm it as requested by the platform. When the client shows Connected, keep the page open briefly and check that the status does not immediately return to disconnected. Once stable, open your browser or target app.
Pages opened before connecting may retain an old session or cached content, so refresh the page when testing. If it still shows the pre-connection content, close it and open it again. Do not start multiple similar clients at once or let different configurations take over the network repeatedly, as this makes troubleshooting harder. Complete the connection with one client before verifying it.
If a route cannot connect, disconnect first, switch to another route in the same region and try once more. If routes in different regions all fail, check whether the subscription updated successfully, whether the system time is correct and whether the client has network configuration permission. A longer troubleshooting path is available in the FAQ; first-time users should avoid changing advanced parameters directly.
Confirm that the connection is working
Start by checking the client status. The main screen should remain Connected and show the route you selected. Then open a page that displays network exit information and check that the exit region matches the selected route. If the regions match and the target page opens normally, the connection is generally working.
If the client shows Connected but the exit region has not changed, disconnect first, fully close the page used for testing, reconnect and check again. If nothing changes, return to the client and confirm that the configuration in use is the one you just imported, not an old or other local configuration. On desktop, also check whether the client has enabled system-level network control.
If the exit region has changed but a particular service still will not open, do not immediately conclude that the entire connection has failed. Use an ordinary webpage to confirm basic access, then try another route in the same region for the target service. Some services base content on account region, cache or an existing session; judge those issues separately from the connection itself. For streaming, see the Streaming guide; for AI tools, see the AI Tools connection guide.
After verification, everyday use only requires opening the client, updating the subscription, choosing a route and connecting. When switching devices, sign in to the same account on the new device and get the client entry and subscription link from the panel again; VPNGP supports unlimited devices. If you need the subscription link again, always copy it from the user panel rather than looking for it in old messages or public records.
Next time, just update, choose a route and connect
